Yorkshire Sub-Centre Noggin 'n' Natter
The Yorkshire Sub-Centre Noggin 'n' Natter will be moving to a new venue from May. The April meeting will therefore be the last one at the Old White Beare.
The new venue is:
The Black Horse Inn
If it sounds familiar, that might be because The Black Horse used to be the meeting place for the sub-centre back in the 80's.
Northern Centre Events 2019
Another year of events is upon us and I am sure you are all putting the final touches to those winter time service issues our dear cars gather during the summer months,I know mine is having a little work done. As to our diary the usual shows we see through the year are still being supported by us at Northern Centre, The two Tatton Park events are on June 1st and 2nd and August 17th and 18th. Oulton Park Gold Cup is on 24th to 26th August, The show that has been held at Event City has been cancelled this year. As usual, please make sure your request for tickets is in at least four weeks before any show, the organisers are very keen on this.
Northern Centre covers a huge section of the north of England and Northern Ireland, and I'm sure most of our northern members know the committee is based in the Manchester area and as such most of the events that I cover tend to be in the North west. Over the past few years a sub centre based in Halifax organised by Jeff Hollinshead has been attracting members from that area and Jeff has successfully put together some well supported runs for his local members. These events have been on our Northern Centres calendar of events for any member of the Austin Healey Club to take part in.
There have also been other events taking place in Yorkshire that our Halifax members have brought to my attention, and I have asked them to contact Rev counter to have them included in the general calendar of events. Similarly Donald Gordon has organised events for members in Scotland as have several other people in different places. With this in mind I am sure that in other parts of the Northern Centre there are some good shows and events that get missed,so if as a Northern member you feel members in your area would benefit by being made aware of shows and events in that area, do contact Revcounter and have those included in the
calendar. I am sure it will help promote the Club in your area and help people meet other Healey enthusiasts.
I look forward to seeing more of our Northern shows and events appearing throughout the year in Revcounter. Finally lets hope for another summer like the one we had last year. To all our members, please support our national and regional events, our officers put a lot of time and effort in for you.
